COMMUNICATIONS DIVISION

The Communications Division facilitates an open line of communication between the public and their elected state officials. It is the division's job to keep the public informed about the daily happenings of the Oklahoma Senate and its members.

The services of the Communications Division are:

  • the production of press releases;

  • Production of digital audio files for use by reporters and the public. These CD quality files include portions of press conferences, debate, or interviews that augment the information presented in our text press releases.

  • Production of high resolution digital photography which is available to all news outlets and the public, providing visuals to accompany press releases.

  • Assisting Senators with press conferences.

  • The Communications Division also assists the media with information and interview requests, as well as keeping them advised about upcoming press conferences and other events.
