Mike Wimmer

Mike Wimmer was born in Muskogee and studied at the University of Oklahoma. He now makes his home in Norman, Oklahoma, with his wife Carmelita and two children.

Wimmer recently illustrated the new book, Theodore, written by former Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating about President Theodore Roosevelt, released in January 2006. He has produced artwork for some of the largest corporations in the world, including American Airlines and Procter & Gamble, and has been used by almost every major publisher in the United States. He also conducts art workshops for public schools nationwide.
