OKLAHOMA ECONOMISTS POINT TO MAJOR CAUSES FOR STATE'S INCOME SHORTFALL

Senate Website Update

hether you need the text of a bill or map of a senate district, the senate web site has what you're looking for.  New this month, the redesigned web page is both more attractive and easier to navigate.  With direction from Senate staff members Selden Jones and Robb Gray, website administrator Charles Israel enhanced the design and reorganized information on the site.

The Senate web page contains a wide range of information from Senators' biographies and district information to Senate staff publications.  Updated frequently, the Senate web page is a good source for information on the daily activities of the Senate.  Session agendas, committee meeting notices, and text of legislation can be found on the site.

Also available on the Senate site:

  • Bill Status

  • Committee membership lists

  • Press releases

  • Legislative briefs

  • Session summaries

  • Interim studies

  • Staff directories

  • Links to other legislatures' web pages and public policy sites

  • Economic profiles of counties by Senate district

  • FY 2000 Budget Review
