SB 444(1) (Herbert/Hutchison): Exempts the Tourism and Recreation Commission from the provisions of the Oklahoma Central Purchasing Act solely for the purpose of negotiating a management contract for the Quartz Mountain Arts and Conference Center. The Department of Central Services is required to approve the contract and exercise oversight in such negotiations. The bill also requires audits to be conducted by the State Auditor and Inspector on a regular basis to ensure compliance with all other provisions of the Central Purchasing Act. Effective 4-7-99
