(Fisher/ Wells): Removes the limitation on prices for which higher education
revenue bonds may be sold.. Effective 6-6-00.

(Haney/Settle): Creates the Oklahoma GEAR UP Scholarship Trust Fund.
Names the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education as trustees for
the Trust Fund and states fiduciary duties of the State Regents. Modifies
authorization to lease buildings to certain nonprofit corporations.

(Hobson/Wells): Authorizes increase of cap on student library, health
and activity fees at institutions within The Oklahoma State System of
Higher Education. Effective 7-1-00.
SB 1393(1)
(Ford/Bryant): States legislative intent that the Oklahoma State Regents
for Higher Education establish a loan repayment program for secondary
level mathematics and science teachers. Provides for loan repayments
not to exceed the average cost of resident tuition and fees for a three-year
period to teachers who serve as mathematics or science teachers in a
secondary level public school for a minimum of five years. Effective
7-1-00

(Deutschendorf/Williams): Creates the Oklahoma Experimental Program
to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) Advisory Committee to the
Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. The Committee is to enhance
scientific and engineering research and development at state universities
so as to help Oklahoma researchers in federal award competitions. Effective
7-1-00.
