Sen. Burrage applauds vote ensuring Pro Tem Bingman will continue as Senate Leader

Sen. Sean Burrage, Democratic Leader of the State Senate, issued the following statement in reaction to Monday’s selection of Sen. Brian Bingman as President Pro Tempore-Designate for the 54th Legislature:

“I am genuinely pleased that Brian Bingman will continue in his role as President Pro Tempore of the State Senate for another two years. While we may differ on policy issues, he is a great friend and an asset to the State Senate and to Oklahoma. I want to offer my sincere congratulations to Senator Bingman, and I look forward to continuing to work with him in the 54th Legislature.”
