$300,000 was appropriated to increase the base budget to $1 million for maintenance of the state's 88 National Guard Armories.

The Legislature provided another $500,000 to match $1 million in federal funding available for improvements to the state's National Guard facilities.

$250,000 was provided to fund a fiber-optics project that will connect the National Guard Oklahoma City headquarters with armories and other military facilities statewide.
