In 2012, Rob Standridge was
elected to the Oklahoma Senate to represent District 15. For the
54th Legislature, he was appointed as Vice-Chairman of Health and
Human Services. He also serves on the Transportation, Rules, Energy
and Appropriations Committees with an assignment to the Appropriations
and Budget Subcommittee on Public Safety and Judiciary. Rob brings
vast business experience to his office as Senator.
A lifelong entrepreneur, Rob Standridge began his
passion for small business in grade school going door to door across
Midwest City selling anything he could, and by the fifth grade,
Rob was one of the top-selling Grit newspaper boys in the state.
The first in his family to graduate from college, Senator Standridge
earned his BS in Pharmacy from the University of Oklahoma in 1993.
In 1995, he and his wife Lisa, who is also a pharmacist, purchased
their first pharmacy in Blanchard, OK. Rob now owns two pharmacies.
A few years later, Rob taught himself how to write computer programs
and created a software program called ‘Compound Assist’.
Since his original program, he has written several software programs
including a complete pharmacy management system which is used throughout
the country. His most recent business venture has been a startup
technology and equipment company for pharmacies, Health Engineering
Systems or HES. HES has a number of products for pharmacies, including
a line of mixing equipment that is sold throughout North and South
Rob is an ACA Fellow and a member of numerous pharmacy
organizations as well as the founder of ‘Business Leaders
for Oklahoma’. In addition, he belongs to several aviation
organizations, several business leader organizations, is a Rotarian
and a Sooner Centurion.
and politics are extremely important to Rob, his faith and family
remain first on his priority list. He is an active member of Crosspointe
Church where he serves on multiple committees and has volunteered
in the youth ministry. After many years believing they were not
meant to have children, Rob and Lisa now have two beautiful daughters,
Holly(8) and Harper(4), and their son, Harrison was born in March.
