Murdock is a rancher from
northwest Oklahoma where his family settled before statehood. He
farms and runs a cow-calf operation in Felt in southwestern Cimarron
County. He has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business
from Panhandle State University.
Murdock served
in the House from 2014 - 2018 before being elected to the Senate.
While in the House, he served as the Vice Chair of the Utilities
Committee as well as on the Appropriations, Agriculture and Rural
Development, A&B Transportation and the Transportation Committees.
